Async Family 1.15 - Most new Macs come with a definitely cool built-in microphone which can be used to record new system beeps. I've seen lots of new  users plugging in their stereos like crazy and recording 10, 20 or even 30 seconds of their favourite musicﾉ until they realized they'd have to wait the same 10, 20 or 30 seconds each time their Mac beeped. So here comes the Async Family. Drop Mr.Player and Mr.Beeper in your system folder, select a new system beep (a LONG one) in Mr.Beeper's control panel and restart your Macﾉ All your system beeps will be asynchronous, and if you have a Mac with the Apple Sound Chip (all Macs but the 68000-based have it) you'll hear more than one beep at a time.
